This is NOT a “formal, dressy” event.  The dress is "Evening Casual" but no shorts, tank tops or T-shirts for the gentlemen and no shorts or halter tops for the ladies.  Instead, dress for a festive evening and dress comfortably for thewarm, humid climate.  “No ties” are perfectly acceptable for the gentlemen.
